City employees were busy the morning of Dec. 27 removing snow from parking lots in downtown Morris.  At least four inches of snow fell overnight from Dec. 26 and into Dec. 27. The National Weather Service had said as much as 12 inches could fall by the time the storm warning ended at noon on Dec. 28. Rae Yost/Stevens County Times

Vehicles parked on Morris streets must be removed during a snow alert. The city has declared a snow alert from 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, until 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29.
