A law enforcement appreciation event was held on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at East Side Park in Morris. The event, coincidentally planned for the same evening as National Night Out, allowed community members to put faces to names of the officers working in the region. Agencies represented included Morris Police Department, Stevens County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, University of Minnesota, Morris Police Department, and Hancock Police Department.
