Two Morris Area / Hancock / Chokio-Alberta wrestlers, Brady Cardwell and Dalton Rose, recorded their 50th career pins at the BOLD triangular Thursday, Jan. 17, in Olivia.

Senior Brady Cardwell earned the career milestone first, against BOLD, with a fall over Blake Flann in 1:22 during the 160-pound match. After winning by forfeit to host BOLD, junior Dalton Rose pinned Joseph Anderson of Redwood Valley in 3:46 for his milestone 50th pin of his career.

Cardwell is 7-7 with six pins on the season. He has 69 career wins with 50 coming from pins. Rose is 18-4 on the season with a team-high 14 pins. He is one win away from 75 career wins.

The Tigers beat BOLD 56-22 and fell to Redwood Valley 48-28 to improve to 6-4 on the dual season.

The Tigers next travel to the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Invitational Saturday, Jan. 19, in Tracy. Next week, MAHACA will compete at the KMS triangular with KMS and Paynesville Tuesday, Jan. 22, in Kerkhoven, before closing out the week against Sauk Centre/Melrose at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in Morris.

MAHACA 56, BOLD 22

MAHACA won six-straight matches early then iced the match with three-straight pins in the upper weights to defeat BOLD 56-22 in the first match of the triangular Thursday, in Olivia.

Dylan Rose at 113, Davin Rose at 120, Ethan Lebrija at 126, Brady Cardwell at 160, Colton Wohlers at 170 and Tristan Raths at 182 all pinned their opponents. Dalton Rose at 145 and Dillon Nelson at 195 won by forfeit.

Redwood 48, MAHACA 28

MAHACA jumped out to a big lead early but Redwood-River Valley outscored the Tigers 39-0 in the final seven matches to pick up the win 48-28 later in the BOLD Triangular on Thursday, in Olivia.

Ethan Lebrija picked up his second pin of the night at 120 pounds with a fall over Damico Arredondo in 3:11. Toby Messner picked up his first career pin on varsity with a fall over Charlie Millhausen in 4:57 during the 126 pound match. Jed Feuchtenberger at 132 and Dalton Rose at 145 also pinned their opponents in the loss.
