Volleyball: Owls eliminated from postseason

The Hancock Owl volleyball team was eliminated in the first round of the postseason Monday, Oct. 22, in Breckenridge. The No. 12-seeded Owls fell 3-0 to No. 5 Breckenridge to end the season 1-19.

Against Breckenridge, Haley Mattson and Miranda Chamberlain both had two ace serves. Mattson led with four kills.

Alexa Meierding had two blocks and Lexi Staples had 11 digs.

Breckenridge will play Underwood at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in Underwood.
