Volleyball: Owls still seek first win

The Hancock Owl volleyball team is still seeking its first win of the 2018 season after being swept by Ortonville Thursday, Sept. 27, in Hancock. The Owls also went 0-4 at their hosted invite Saturday, Sept. 22, in Hancock. No stats were reported from the invite.

Against Ortonville, the Owls lost 25-20, 25-12, 25-20. Lexi Staples, Carlee Hanson and Jenna Kannegiesser all had two blocks each. Hanson led with three kills and Miranda Chamberlain had two ace serves.

Hancock competed at the Bertha-Hewitt Invite Saturday, Sept. 27 and next travels to Wheaton / Herman-Norcross Tuesday, Oct. 2 and hosts Clinton - Graceville - Beardsley Thursday, Oct. 4, in Hancock.
