Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat Minnewaska Thursday, May 16, in Morris.

The Tigers scored three runs in the third to take the lead. Bailey Marty singled in Riley Decker to tie the game then Liz Dietz had a two-RBI single to make it 3-1 in favor of Morris/C-A.

Those runs proved to be enough for the win after Dietz came in during the third inning to shutdown the Lakers. She took the win, allowing just one hit and one unearned run, striking out eight batters.

Marty and Emma Bowman paced the Tigers with four of their team's eight hits.
