Softball: Dietz tosses a perfect game

Liz Dietz threw a five-inning perfect game as Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta softball defeated Benson to wrap up the West Central Conference championship on Tuesday, May 14, in Morris. Sauk Centre and ACGC split its regular season series and sit behind Morris/C-A at 10-4.

Morris/CA's Jen Solvie hit a two-run home run and Carissa Oberg had a hit and drove in two runs. Dietz also had two hits, including a double, and Jordann Baier singled and drove in two runs.

The Tigers beat Minnewaska Thursday, May 16 and now wrap up West Central Conference play at Montevideo Friday, May 17.
