Softball: Tigers 10-run Melrose

Morris/Chokio-Alberta didn't mess around Thursday, May 2, defeating Melrose 10-0 and allowing just one hit, in Morris.

The Tigers took an early 4-0 lead through two innings and added three runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings.

Liz Dietz finished with three hits and four runs batted in. Carissa Oberg also logged three hits.

Jen Solvie delivered the game-ending runs with a double in the fifth. She finished with three RBIs.

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta will look to keep things going when they visit New London-Spicer Friday, May 3.
