The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta softball team improved to 4-0 on the season after a series sweep of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Tuesday, April 23, at Eagles Park in Morris. The Tigers beat the Falcons 11-1 in game one before posting a 14-3 victory in game two.

The Tigers have a busy next three days. They travel to Benson for a single West Central Conference game Thursday, April 25 then travel to BOLD for a conference doubleheader Friday, April 26 before hosting a three-game invite Saturday, April 27, at Eagles Park in Morris.

Morris/C-A 11, ACGC 1

Emma Bowman homered as part of her three-hit game to end an 11-1 win against ACGC in game one Tuesday afternoon, in Morris.

Liz Dietz allowed just two Falcon hits in five innings of work, and ACGC scored its only run in the third inning.

Kenzie Hockel, Katelyn Wehking and Riley Decker each finished with a pair of hits.

Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta strung together 14 hits, including a three-run bomb by Kenzie Hockel, in a 14-3 game two win over ACGC.

Jen Solvie led with three hits while Bailey Marty, Bowman, Dietz, Hockel and Decker all had two apiece.

Kenna Kehoe earned her first win from the circle.
