Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta scored five first-inning runs and Liz Dietz held off Benson's offense from the pitching circle in a West Central Conference game on Tuesday, May 15 in Benson. The Tigers beat the Braves 11-1 in five innings.

In addition to the pitching win, Dietz was 4-for-4 and drove in four runs. MacKenzie Hockel, Bailey Marty and Whitney Demaris all had two hits for the Tigers.

Benson's Kaitlyn Berreau had two hits.

Morris/C-A visits Melrose (5-10, 4-9 in WCC) for a single WCC game at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 17 before closing out the regular season with a doubleheader against BOLD (5-8, 5-7 in WCC) Friday, May 18 in Morris.
