Hancock defeated Ortonville 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-23) in a hard fought Pheasant Conference volleyball match on Thursday, Sept. 9, in Hancock.
“The girls did a great job keeping their composure during those tight games and played to win,” said third-year Hancock head coach Kortney Ejnik. “They stayed aggressive and kept fighting. We made a few errors at key times which shifted momentum but they never gave up and kept pushing until the end.”
The Owls, now 2-0, played Dawson-Boyd Monday, Sept. 13 and next travel to West Central Area, who is also undefeated on the year, on Thursday, Sept. 16 for a Pheasant Conference showdown. Hancock will then travel to CGB Tuesday, Sept. 21. Full story here.
