Owls, Tigers headed to state basketball

The Hancock Owl boys basketball team beat top-ranked Mahnomen-Waubun in the Section 6A title game, 77-71, in Fergus Falls and Morris/C-A used a defensively solid second half to beat Pipestone in the Section 3AA title game, 57-49, Friday, March 26, in Montevideo. Both teams advance to the state tournament next week.
