The Hancock Owl volleyball team will lean heavily on its six seniors to improve on its 6-3 season that abruptly ended after a confirmed COVID-19 case at the school put the team into quarantine. After being the winners of four straight, the Owls gave up their last four games of the regular season and headed into quarantine to end the season early.

Luckily there are not currently any restrictions this season and the Owls have a full slate of games on the schedule for 2021, third-year head coach Kortney Ejnik said. Read the full story including other comments from the coach here.

The Owls open the 2021 season at Ashby Tuesday, Aug. 31 and will not open the home season until Thursday, Sept. 9 when Hancock hosts Ortonville for parents/senior night.
