The Hancock boys basketball team went 3-1 last week to improve to 12-3 on the season. The Owls fell to Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in the final minutes, but bounced back with three straight wins over New York Mills, Rothsay and Battle Lake.

The Owls played Renville County West Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, and will next play Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Friday, Feb. 4, in Hancock.

Full recaps from all three games in Tuesday’s Stevens County Times.
