Quotes from Morris/C-A seniors Will Breuer and Angel Gallegos, junior Durgin Decker and Tiger coach Kevin Pope in the full story. Link here.

The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tiger football team was in control for the first three quarters against a physical Paynesville team and held on to win 34-30 Friday, Oct. 30, in Paynesville.

“The first three quarters were all us, the fourth quarter got away from us a little bit,” Tiger coach Kevin Pope said. “We had a few guys that were a little banged up and not on the field and (Paynesville) hit a couple good pass plays to make it a lot closer than it was for a lot of the game.”

The Tigers, 4-0, play Osakis Friday, Nov. 6, at Big Cat Stadium in Morris. Kick-off 7 p.m.
