Hancock's Gideon Joos has been somewhat of a utility man for the Hancock Owl football team through the first two games of the regular season. The senior, who typically lines up at fullback on offense and as a middle linebacker on defense, has played nearly every position on offense and all three levels of the defense, Owl head coach Chad Christianson said.

“I played both running back positions, right guard, a little bit of wide receiver out there, too. I actually caught a pass for quite a few yards,” Joos said of his offensive assignments in the first game against United North Central.
