Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta girls basketball player, junior Malory Anderson, earned West Central Tribune All Area Second Team honors announced Thursday, March 14 by the newspaper, in Willmar. Below is an excerpt from the original article.

An honorable mention selection a year ago, Anderson set the tone for Morris/C-A this year by averaging a double-double with 12.7 points and 11.4 rebounds per game while setting the Tigers' single-season rebound record for the second straight year. She also came up with 4.7 steals, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks per game while pushing Morris/C-A to a 15-9 record.

“Malory is a very hard-working athlete,” said Tigers head coach Dale Henrich. “Malory has many strong points for her game. She scores well around the basket, she rebounds well and she has the ability to cover a lot of area and anticipate where the ball is going.”
