Minnesota Morris men’s basketball team had two players recognized by the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference as the UMAC announced its postseason accolades Tuesday, Feb. 26.

Noah Grove earned all-conference honorable mention and sophomore Trent Jerome received the sportsmanship award for Minnesota Morris.

Grove, a senior from Morris, started all 26 games for the Cougars this past season. On the year, he led UMM with an average of 15.5 points per game and was third on the team in rebounds and assists with 118 rebounds and 36 assists on the season. Grove closed out his UMM career ranked No. 3 all-time in scoring with 1,500 points.

Jerome, a sophomore from Lancaster, came off the bench in 25 games this season. Jerome averaged 17 minutes per game, second-most on the team for a non-starter. He averaged 5.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and one assist per game. He finished third on the team in 3-point shooting this season, connecting on 35 percent (15-of-43).

Grove is one of four seniors to graduate off the squad this spring. Other seniors include Jeremy and Jeffrey Halverson and Trey Heinsius.
