Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta senior Jaret Johnson was 10 points away from a career milestone 1,000 points coming into the game against Parkers Prairie on Thursday, Feb. 21. He eclipsed that mark with 17 points in the game as the Tiger boys basketball team handed the Panthers just their fourth loss of the season on Thursday, Feb. 21, in Morris.

Johnson’s milestone comes just seven games after classmate and teammate Camden Arndt hit his 1,000th career points in the win over West Central Area back on Feb. 2.

Arndt led all scorers with a game-high 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Jackson Loge logged his 11th double-double of the season, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Tigers (15-8) close out the regular season against Paynesville at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in Morris.
