The Hancock boys basketball team got back to its winning ways with a big second half to top Wheaton/Herman-Norcross, 69-44, Monday, Feb. 11, in Wheaton.

Bennett Nienhaus led all scorers with 21 points for the Owls. Hancock dominated the glass, with Peyton Rohloff snagging nine rebounds. Connor Reese, meanwhile added 10 assists and seven steals.

The Owls are 14-4 on the year after falling to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta on Saturday. They next travel to Ortonville, who holds sole possession of the Pheasant Conference title after beating Hancock back on Jan. 11. The Trojans are 6-0 in the conference while the Owls are 6-1.
