Boys Basketball: Dutchmen hand Morris/C-A eighth loss

The Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta Tiger boys basketball team shot 48 percent from the floor, but that was offset by 16 turnovers leading to their sixth West Central Conference loss of the season.

The loss snapped a four-game win streak for the Tigers, who fall to 10-8 overall and 6-6 in the conference. Melrose improved to 15-4 overall and 11-1 in the conference after its seventh win in a row.

Jaret Johnson was 7-for-10 from the floor, including 4-for-6 from deep, for 21 points. Jackson Loge added 18 points on 5-for-9 shooting, and Camden Arndt had eight points, 10 rebounds and six assists in the losing effort.
