The Hancock Owl baseball team split with Ashby in a doubleheader Monday, May 13, in Hancock. The Owls cruised to an 11-3 win in game one before falling 8-5 in game two.

The Owls are now 9-6 on the season and close out the season against West Central Area at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in Hancock.

Game 1

Hancock 11, Ashby 3

The Owls jumped out to a 6-3 lead after the first three innings and keep it rolling to an 11-3 win over Ashby in the first game of a doubleheader Monday, in Hancock.

Tanner Pahl had a three-run home run in the sixth inning and also took the win on the hill. He gave up three runs (one earned) on three hits, walked five and struck out four. Dalton Rose came in and gave up one hit in the final three innings to record the save.

Colton Crowell went 3-for-4 and Peyton Rohloff had a triple in the win.

Despite a 10-strikeout game from Kody Berget, Ashby's offense was able to get 12 hits on the Hancock starter in an 8-5 win for the Arrows on Monday.

Tanner Pahl was the top batter for the Owls, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Montana Molden was 3-for-4 with a run while Adam Shaw finished 1-for-4 with a run and an RBI.
