The Hancock Owl baseball team went 1-1 at the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Invite Saturday, May 12 in Morris. The Owls took second, falling to the Morris/C-A Tigers in the championship game. The Owls beat Silver Bay to reach the title game.

The Owls next play Brandon-Evansville at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 17 in Hancock.

Hancock routed Silver Bay 3-1 in the opening round of the Morris/C-A tournament Saturday, May 12 on the Babe Ruth Field at Eagle Park in Morris. No other stats were available from this game.

Morris/C-A went ahead in the first inning and Tiger pitcher Parker Dierks did the rest, allowing just two hits en route to a 3-0 Tiger win in the championship game of the Morris/C-A tourney Saturday afternoon.
