The Hancock Owls improved to 7-8 on the season after sweeping Ashby Thursday, May 10 in Hancock.

The Owls next participate in the Morris/C-A tournament Saturday, May 12 in Morris.

Hancock 6, Ashby 5

The Owls beat Ashby 6-5 in game one of a doubleheader Thursday, May 10 in Hancock. Preston Rohloff took the win on the hill with Montana Molden coming in for the save.

Molden hit a double to lead the Owl offense that tallied five hits.

In game two Thursday, Hancock won 8-7 to complete the sweep. Kody Berget got the win on the hill and Molden came in for his second save of the day.

Ashby and Hancock were tied at 5-5 through three innings. Hancock, the visitor on the scoreboard in game two, got up 8-5 after four and half innings. Ashby fell short of the comeback with a run in each of the final two innings.
