The Hanson twins were two Hancock Owl softball players named to the all-conference roster announced by the Pheasant Conference this week. Carlee Hanson was awarded First Team All-Conference while sister Rylee Hanson was awarded Second Team All-Conference. Both freshman are receiving all-conference recognition in softball for the first time in their young careers.

Carlee Hanson finished the season with a team-high .695 slugger percentage and .356 batting average, which was the second best on the team. She had team-best 21 hits, including five doubles, three triples and three home runs. Defensively, she did the most work in the circle for the Owls, tallying 66 innings pitched and going 6-6 on the year with 49 strikeouts.

Rylee Hanson had 17 hits on the year, including four doubles, a triple and two home runs. She finished with a .340 batting average, a .580 slugger percentage and a team-high 22 RBIs.

Seniors Nadine Miller and Haley Mattson were both named honorable mention.

The Owl softball team finished fourth in the conference this season with a 7-7 Pheasant Conference record while finishing the year 7-10 overall.
