Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta senior Bailey Marty went 4-for-4 with two home runs, four RBIs and four runs scored to help the Tigers remain undefeated in West Central Conference play. Morris/C-A improves to 11-1 on the year and 8-0 in the conference after beating Minnewaska 15-2 in six innings on Tuesday, May 7, in Glenwood.

Carissa Oberg hit a grand slam as a part of an eight-run sixth inning. Like Marty, Emma Bowman also had four hits while Liz Dietz and Jen Solvie both went 3-for-4.

Kenna Kehoe took the win in the pitcher’s circle. She gave up just two runs (one earned) on six hits.

The Tigers, now 11-1 on the year, travel to Montevideo Thursday, May 9 before closing out the week against Willmar Friday, May 10, in Willmar.
