The Morris Area/Hancock/Chokio-Alberta gymnastics team fell to Melrose 139.5 to 119.9 Tuesday, Jan. 22, in Melrose.
“Overall, we seemed a little off, tired and under the weather,” MAHACA coach Trent Oberg said. “Beam was rough, we were loose and wobbly.”
The Tigers had just one stuck beam routine. It was performed by Taylor Kill, and it was her seventh stuck beam routine of the season.
Kill took third in all around competition after placing third on the vault and tying for fifth on the floor.
Olivia Lebrija took second in all around competition after placing second on the vault and third on the floor.
Callie Snell took fourth in all around competition.
Despite seeming a little off, the Tigers had a new season high event score on the bars and three new personal bests set.
The Tigers next host their final meet of the season, against Marshall, Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Morris.
