The University of Minnesota Morris women’s swimming and diving team closed out the home season with a 127-79 win over Augsburg University Saturday, Dec. 8, in Morris.

Out of the 13 events, UMM claimed first place in 11 of them but three of those races were exhibitioned and did not count toward team total for UMM.

The 400-yard medley relay team of Montana Lawrence, Sierra Walker, Tatian Walker-Rozo and Olivia Salzwedel finished first with a time of 4:38.44.

Lawrence also took first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:54.55 and the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.67.

Caitlin Papke took first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.10) and the 100-yard freestyle (56.99).

Malia Stone clocked a 27.7 for first place in the 50-yard freestyle. Walker-Rozo finished first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:33.72.

McKenna Vininski claimed first in the 3-meter diving event with 341.4 points.

The Cougars next compete at the Dragon Invite Friday and Saturday, Jan. 18 and 19, in Moorhead.
