RoseMary Karpinsky

RoseMary Karpinsky, age 91, of Graceville, MN, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Essentia Health – Grace Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chokio.

RoseMary Teresa Karpinsky was born on May 26, 1930, to Lawrence and Gertrude (Loher) Karpinsky. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Faith at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chokio, MN. RoseMary graduated high school from Chokio High School in 1948.

After high school, RoseMary attended nurses training and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as a nurse for over 50 years. RoseMary worked in Morris, Montevideo, and Graceville, delivering many babies, and caring for many in her community.

Faith and family were extremely important to RoseMary and she entrusted her life to the Lord. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville. RoseMary enjoyed her many walks around Graceville. She also enjoyed reading, baking cookies, and crocheting.

RoseMary leaves behind her brother, Herbert (Joan) Karpinsky of North Mankato, MN; many nieces and nephews: Suzanne Edwards, Marty (Barb) Berlinger, Leo (Maria) Berlinger, Adrian (Kathy) Karpinsky, Cheryl (Lyle) Danberry, Theresa Karpinsky, Paul Karpinsky, Mike (Katherine) Karpinsky, John (Kristen) Karpinsky, and Ann (Todd) Beske; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Adrian Karpinsky and Leroy Karpinsky; sisters: Irene Berlinger and Edna Johnson; brothers-in-law: Verdi Johnson and Martin Berlinger; and niece, Arlene Dayton.
