Nicole Larson, age 25, of rural Ortonville, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, in Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Visitation was Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Morris Evangelical Free Church, Morris, MN. Visitation continued Friday, June 4, 2021, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at the church. Pastor Marlin Mohrman and Pastor Hector Franco officiated. Burial was in Appleton City Cemetery.

Nicole Magdelyn Larson was born in the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria, MN, to Daniel and Kelly Miller on February 12, 1996. She attended Alexandria Technical and Community College in her senior year of high school, after being homeschooled with her siblings near Glenwood, MN, and graduated in the spring of 2014.

Nicole married the love of her life, Chet Larson, on January 24, 2015, in Glenwood, MN. She expressed her immense creativity by starting Larson Rustic Home Furnishings in 2016, where she would fervently search for the special pieces to breathe fresh life into, eventually starting her YouTube channel, Nicole’s Untold Gold in January 2020. Being a farmer’s wife is a full-time job at the best of times, busied further by the video editing position she took on for Chet’s YouTube channel, Larson Farms.

As the youngest sibling of four, and being the “surprise” of the Miller family, her parents fawned over her and she was adored by everyone she touched, inspiring her siblings and fostering unrelenting love. Giving and receiving gifts was always met with exuberant celebration and an overabundance of gratitude. Her generous heart spent hours scouring the internet and local stores for the “perfect gift” for her cherished nieces and nephews, and all her friends and family. Radiating excitement, opening a gift from Nicole was even more beautiful than being the recipient; at the edge of her seat, she would squirm in bated breath for the package to be unwrapped, crying out with glee and an explanation of the innumerable reasons she’s so thrilled with the gift. Vibrant, tenacious, unwavering in faith, the love which flowed so freely from her spirit will forever be dancing in the hearts of those who knew and love her. We celebrate Nikki’s goodness, comforted by the certainty of grace and knowledge that she’s in the tender care of Our Creator.

Nicole passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND at the age of 25. She is survived by her high school sweetheart, Chet Larson; her parents, Daniel and Kelly Miller; her cherished siblings: Nathan (Anna) Miller, Nolan (Emily) Miller, Natasha (Mitchell) Trumble; parents-in-law, Douglas and Amy Larson; brother-in-law, Stone Larson; grandparents: Alphonse and Magdalena Fleck, Irene Miller, Merlyn and Nancy Larson, Al and Diane Jensen and Goldie Wente; her beloved nieces and nephews: Aunika, Tessa, Malachi, Paige, Erica, Viktor, Liberty, Brady, Dominic, Rosalina, Adelaide, and baby Miller on the way; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Nicole was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ralph Miller; uncles: Dennis, David, Ken & Peter; cousins, Reed, Jack, James, and Jared.

Nicole’s family wants to share their deep gratitude and appreciation for all those who have followed and been praying for Nicole throughout her final journey on earth. A special appreciation to the healthcare professionals, and Dr. Kim, who’ve provided an invaluable source of care for our sweet Nikki.

Well done, good and faithful servant. Heaven will never see a quiet moment again, and your spirit will forever be a light to those you’ve touched.
