Howard Johnson

Howard Duaine Johnson, was born on May 25. 1956. Howard passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He was 64 years old. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Wheeler, dear son of Elaine Young, dear brother of Lori Young, Deebie Reetz, Steven Young, Jason Johnson and Bruce Johnson.

Howard was preceded into death by his fathers Lenard Johnson and Donald Young, his brothers Jerry and Brian Johnson, sister Pam Johnson and his grandparents Ora and Frieda Baxter and Claude and Pauline Streeter and Howard Johnson.

Howard attended Graceville High School from 1970 through 1974. He enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1974 through 1977. Howard then went on to attend the University of Minnesota- Morris from 1981 through 1983.

Most of his life, Howard was a carpenter and in the construction business. He worked construction in many different cities including; Nashville, TN, Henderson and Graceville, MN and Ottawa, IL. He also ran an animal business in Ottawa, IL.

There will be a graveside service at the Graceville Cemetery for Howard on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00p.m.
