Arden Leroy Frank, son of Clarence and Myrtle (Erickson) Frank, was born April 16, 1943 in Graceville, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school in Donnelly, Minnesota. As a young man, he moved to the family farm where he proudly took on the household duties and farming chores. He also took a liking to cooking and baking, especially bread. As he got older, he went to work with the DAC where he worked for many years making countless friends along the way. Because of health reasons, Arden was unable to continue working at the DAC and relocated to Starbuck, Minnesota living at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home.

Arden was a member of Kongsvinger Lutheran Church. He loved to paint by number with horses being his favorite subject. He received many awards for his paintings at the Stevens County Fair in Morris. He was involved with special Olympics with his favorite sport being bowling. Arden loved music and dancing. His favorite being the chicken dance. He would spend a lot of his time listening to music and watching Polka on TV. Christmas was so important to Arden. Decorating and the festivity of Christmas was a huge deal to him. He would spend months decorating at the family farm and also his apartment. There would never be a space that did not have some sort of decoration.

Arden passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck. He was 78 years old.

He is survived by one sister: Carol Holten of Glenwood; several nieces nephews and cousins and all of his friends at the DAC. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Diane Mitchell; brother: Ken Frank; many aunts and uncles and special friend: Linda Claassen.
