Welcome to graduation edition of the Donnelly News, part two.
For the first time this spring we have had over a week of sunny, mild, dry weather, so farmers are very busy in the fields getting their crops in, some are already up.
There will be joint services at 9:30 a.m. on 1st, 3rd, 5th Sundays of the month at Kongsvinger and on the 2nd, 4th Sunday at St. John's followed by a coffee hour at both churches. Communion service 1st and 4th Sundays.
The All —state Lutheran choir will perform at 7 p.m. on June 16 at First Lutheran in Morris.
On June 10 the Donnelly fire department meets at 7 p.m. at the fire hall and the Donnelly Community Cub meeting is at 8:30 p.m. at the community hall.
Rendsville 4-h meets on June 9 at 3 p.m. at Kongsvinger to bake pies followed by a potluck supper. Note change of day/time and meeting place.
Former Donnelly area resident Diane Moerke of Minnetonka passed away on May 31.
Mayyva Johnson of Herman passed away on May 31. Local survivors include her stepdaughter former Donnelly area resident Kelly (Tom) Clausen of Chokio.
