Basketball: Owl girls win streak snapped by CGB

Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley scored 32 points in the first half and stood tall defensively in the second half to defeat Hancock 50-34 in a Pheasant Conference match Thursday, Jan. 10, in Hancock. The loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Owls, who fall to 5-4 on the season.

Haley Mattson scored 14 points to led the Owls, but Reanna Ward and Emma Botker combined for 32 points for CGB.

The Owls next travel to Swanville Friday, Jan. 11 and then play Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Thursday, Jan. 17, in Wheaton.
