Welcome to another edition of the Donnelly News. Happy New Year and Manga Takk to all my loyal readers out there who have allowed me to have another successful year writing my column.
After several weeks of semi-decent weather it has turned cold again, and as I am writing this Thursday morning, we have about five inches of snow. .
On Dec. 30 and Jan. 6 at 9:30 a.m. there will be joint services at Kongsvinger followed by coffee hour. No Sunday school on the 30th, it will resume on Jan. 6.
The Bookmobile will be in town from 3:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 31 on Main Street
Donnelly City Council meets at 4 p.m. on Jan. 5. at city hall.
Rendsville 4-h meets at 7 p.m. on Jan. 7 at St. John's
Former Donnelly resident Ardith Ritzschke of Barrett passed away on Dec. 22. Local survivors include her son Dwayne (Deanna Heuer) of Donnelly.
Clarence Geise of Morris formerly of Donnelly passed away on Dec. 26.
Most Donnelly business will be closing early New Year's Eve and closed all day on New Year's Day.
