Westmor Industries, a Minnesota-based manufacturer and one of the most comprehensive energy equipment suppliers in the country, announces its plans to expand in Morris, Minnesota. Construction of a new 16,500-square-foot tank shop addition at the manufacturer’s headquarters will begin as soon as the weather allows.

“About ten years ago, we acquired a tank manufacturer in Maine with a unique aluminum design that is very popular in the Northeast,” says general manager at Westmor, Mike Hennen. “Now, demand for this design is taking off in the Midwest and we need to improve our production capacity and keep up with customer orders.”

During the next year or so, the building expansion to Westmor’s tank shop is expected to add at least 25 new jobs in Morris, mainly in welding and assembly. Job seekers are encouraged to visit workatwestmor.com to apply for these positions or one of 75-plus other openings within the whole company.

Travelers going northeast along Highway 59 in Morris will be able to see building progress when they look south to the industrial park. The rectangular expansion is planned for the west side of Westmor’s tank shop.

Headquartered in Morris, with satellite locations in suburban Minneapolis, Wisconsin, Kansas, Maine, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania, Westmor Industries supplies its customers with a diverse group of products used to store, transport, and dispense liquids and gases.
