The bad weather has caused Hancock Public School and Chokio-Alberta Schools today, Jan. 24.

It's an e-Learning day for Morris Area Schools as the district has canceled classes inside the school.

An e-Learning day means students can use technology at home to do assigned school work, similar to being in the classroom.

The weather has also caused the Stevens County DAC to open two hours late today and caused some other changes in area schedules.

The National Weather Service's blizzard warning has been canceled but high winds are still predicted. A winter weather advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. as the NWS says blowing snow and wind gusts as high as 45 mph are expected. Wind chills could be as low as 35 below zero.
