Each week we are trying to do a feature story in this section about businesses, schools and people affected by the COVID-19 virus and restrictions put in place. Since we are also bound by ‘social distancing’ we need your help to get the message out.
Next week we would like to do a story about the schools and how they are doing distance learning. We will try to contact as many teachers and administrators as possible for input but would also like to hear from parents and students. If you are a teacher, please let us know what you are doing and how it is going.
Please share with us any comments, stories or suggestions that we can include with the article. Also, if you are willing, we would love to have pictures of the children doing their schoolwork, on the computer with their teacher or even talking to friends through social media.
Other ideas for future stories are comments from truck drivers, retail businesses, factories and businesses considered to be non-essential. We hope to get some ideas from our doctors, nurses, pharmacists and medical personnel as this situation unfolds. Please keep us in mind and share your stories and ideas.
