This year’s Spring Play, Left to Your own devices, was released last week.
The play was written specifically to be both rehearsed and performed remotely. The characters relate to each other in real-time but from separate locations. The setup of this play allowed for students who are doing in-person learning and distance learning to participate in the Spring Play. Rehearsals were a unique experience over the ZOOM platform.
Director, Tammy P. Roth, returned to direct the play with scenes set up in a vignette format. This format allows actors to learn short scenes that may or may not have a continuing storyline throughout the play. This type of play gives busy students an opportunity to participate in the Spring Play. Students can commit to one vignette or several.
This year’s cast (in order of appearance) includes: Kaia Anderson, Lily Zeltwanger, Lindy Erp, Paxton VanEps, Charity Johnson and Peyton Stinar.
