Two very different proposals sparked a lengthy discussion by the Hancock School board on June 20. They decided that they need to know exactly what it is they want in regard to the upgrades at the football/baseball field and outdoor field space on school grounds before moving on in the process. That will mean a committee will meet to decide on those needs.

The discussion actually started earlier in the school year, shortly after weather conditions brought on some bad field conditions for football. At least one game needed to be moved to another location due to the conditions.
