Four cited in two-vehicle crash near McDonalds Friday

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 28 on Friday, May 7, 2021 just before 1 p.m. A vehicle driven by Scott Krippner, 44 years of age from Miltona, was northbound on Highway 9. Another vehicle, driven by a 17 year old female, was westbound on Highway 28, entered the intersection and attempted to proceed southbound on Highway 9 causing a crash between the two vehicles. The 17 year old driver was cited for “Fail to Yield at Entrance of Through Highway after Having Stopped” and “Driver Allowing an Open Bottle.” The 17 year old’s three passengers were each cited for “no seat belt use” and “possession of an open bottle.” All four people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital and no life threatening injuries were sustained.
