Morris Area High Schools graduated Friday, May 24, in a ceremony in the elementary gym.

Student speakers Lindsey Moser and Liz Dietz reminded fellow seniors that is was about 4,642 days ago their parents dropped them off at kindergarten.

In a countdown of days, the two speakers highlighted the kids who reached sixth grade 2,452 days ago.

"We were the big kids and we knew it," Moser said.

It wasn't long before they were in high school where they "felt like the coolest kids on the planet because we were officially high school freshmen," Dietz said.

Now, those kids are graduating, Dietz and Moser said.

They encouraged fellow graduates to embrace what's in store for them in the future.
