Three advance to second round in Morris Area superintendent search

The Morris Area School Board's superintendent search committee has selected three finalists to return for a second interview for the school district's superintendent position. The finalists are:

■ Troy Ferguson, Superintendent, St. Francis Area Schools, St. Francis.

■ Melissa Radeke, Director of Teaching and Learning/4-6 Principal, Windom Area Schools, Windom.

■ Sue Richards-Chase, Principal, Cass Lake-Bena School District, Cass Lake.

The finalists were selected from a pool of 19 applicants based on criteria established by the school board superintendent search committee. Five applicants were interviewed Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6.

Thesearch committee will conduct second-round interviews for semi-finalists beginning at 12:45 p.m. Monday, April 8, in the Morris Area High School Media Center. During the second-round interviews, staff and community members are invited to attend facilitated question-and-answer sessions with the candidates at 4 p.m..

All interviews are open to the public.
