Students and other volunteers from the University of Minnesota Morris organized a Day of Service for Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Morris, Monday, Jan. 21.

The student volunteers worked with children on a variety of activities to teach them about MLK's legacy of service in the civil rights campaign as well as overall service to the community.

The day's march was canceled but other actitivities continued.

A community dialogue and service activities continued until 5 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church.

Singing is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. at the church. A community meal with a short program is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church.
