Soaking it up: Jerome gets doused in principal plunge (with video)
Chokio-Alberta Schools principal Tate Jerome was "winner" of the "Pick a Principal to Plunge" contest announced Dec. 6. Jerome, whose supporters donated $136.25 to the cause, was plunged Monday, Dec. 10, over lunchtime at the C-A school in Chokio. Other participating school principals that did the dousing, included Bill Kehoe of Morris Area High School, Shane Monson of Morris Area Elementary School and Joseph Ferriero of St. Mary's.
Each participating principal has now been plunged once, and next year's winner will be the first repeat participant to be plunged. Take a look back at past plungees here.
This year supporters donated $132.52 to Monson, $123.40 to Kehoe, and $53.48 to Ferriero. The contest raises money for child abuse prevention and is sponsored by the Stevens County Family Well Being Committee. It is part of Radiothon to End Child Abuse broadcast by KIKV 100.7 FM and COOL 94.3 F.
