Update: Voters show big support for Hancock School referendum

Voters in the Hancock School District overwhelmingly supported a $7.8 million referendum to add classrooms to the school.

The referendum passed with 73.4 percent of the vote or 389 votes. One-hundred-thirty-eight no votes were cast..

The two-story addition will included a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math classroom/lab and industrial arts and agriculture labs/classrooms. A second addition to the opposite side of the school near the high school gym will include a fitness classroom.
