The Morris Eagles Auxiliary #620 sent letters to all the local schools, asking students in grades 3-6 to participate in the "My Favorite Thing" coloring contest. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. Our motto is: "People helping people." All local entries will be submitted to the Grand Aerie with a chance to win up to $500 and be displayed at the International Eagles Convention.

The winners in each grade were awarded: first-$15, second-$10 and third-$5. The following were judged, by the local Auxiliary officers, as the winners: third grade: first-Maggie Knobloch; second-Jennifer Gutierrez; third-Conner Olhoft. Fourth grade: first-Abby Nuest; second-Marie Schneider; third-Sydney Holm. Fifth grade: first-Karleigh Rohloff; second-Presten Banister; third-Alexis Wilson. Sixth grade: first-Faith Edgar; second-Brian Regalado.
