The 55th Annual Donnelly Threshing Bee will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 27, 28 and 29 in Donnelly. The theme this year is ‘The Little Engine rings again’ and will feature Ford and Massey Harris Tractors and Equipment.
The festivities will begin on Friday night with a Community supper from 5 – 7 p.m. on the Threshing Bee grounds. Admission is a Threshing Bee Button. The West Central Cattlemen’s Association will be doing the grilling.
Saturday will start with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. in the steel building. There will also be a 5K Fun Run at the Rod and Gun Club Shoot site. A tractorcade will start at 9 a.m. leaving from Donnelly Co-op.
The Kiddie Parade will begin at 11:30 with a Kiddie Tractor Pull at 2 p.m. The Antique Tractor Pull will begin at 2 p.m.
Coronation for the Donnelly Threshing Bee royalty will take place on the depot stage starting at 7 p.m. followed by a dance on the grounds.
Sunday will feature an open air church service at 9 a.m. and a Classic Car Show. The big parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. The day will end with a horse pulling content at 3 p.m.
