A child, a woman, and one driver sustained non-life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash reported at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, on Minnesota Highway 28 at milepost 48 between Morris and Alberta, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Bergen Thomas Nolting, 11, of Alberta, and Mary Ann Nolting, 69, of Ortonville were passengers in a 2013 Ford pickup driven by Daniel Carl Nolting, 39, of Alberta, the state patrol said.

The pickup was eastbound on Highway 28 and attempting to make a right turn into an abandoned farm site when a 2009 Lincoln driven by Charles Elwood Hanson, 81, of Correll, struck the pickup in the rear, the state patrol said. Hanson was also injured. All three injured persons were transported to Stevens Community Medical Center.

Matthew Allen Danielson, 8, of Alberta, a passenger in the pickup, and the pickup's driver were not injured, the state patrol said.
