Wells Concrete started installing pre-cast concrete walls in the Hancock School addition July 8.

The walls were lifted from the bed of a semi trailer with a crane and placed into the proper spot for building the school addition.

Chad Frappier, the construction manager for Tradesmen Construction, the general contractor on the project, said the Wells' crane was a 165-ton crane.

School board member Troy Hausmann has a front row street from his house across from the school.

"When I looked out the window earlier this morning, the crane was crawling along," Hausman said."It took a while to move the crane."

Frappier said the installation of pre-cast concrete walls should continue this week and into next week.
